AMD Mantle not installed

I just did a complete un-install of my 7970 drivers and then installed the latest drivers that support Mantle but when I run star swarm it says Mantle is not installed ? Also when I play bf4 and go into video settings Mantle is not there. I am playing on a Alienware r4 7970gpu and a intel i7 3630 cpu. Does anyone know what is wrong.

 

mobile gpus are excluded from mantle at the moment. however if you really want to you can install a modded driver that will enable mantle. it is highly unstable and it could potentially damage your system permanently. you can wait a few months till amd can finalize mantle.

Not really, I installed the mobile Mantle driver this morning from AMD site , it includes CCC, New display driver and hydravision as well,,The driver is 13.350.1005.0 Date: 1/31/2014, Installed without a bump runs perfectly fine,

Here is a link to the mobility Mantle driver,, Don't install AMD drivers from 3rd parties they are not official to AMD products.

That is the one I installed also but when I still don't have mantle

 

The driver itself supports 7970M, but not all the supported cards can make good use of the Mantle part, if at all. Atm full support for Mantle can only be achieved with Radeon R9 290X, R9 290, R7 260X, HD 7790 and Kaveri.

Which means mantle is still beta and there is no hope for mobile old gen support (i.e. HD5650M HD5850/70M)

 

The goal of Mantle is to unify AMD's desktop GPUs with the new consoles (PS4/XB1), all of which use the GCN architecture, in order to simplify porting between consoles and PCs. Older VLIW4/VLIW5 cards were never a part of that vision so there was never any hope to begin with...
