For those of you with switchable graphics, you should be familiar with two main forms of switching:
1. Muxless Dynamic Scheme (enduro on demand switching based on application needs, both dGPU or iGPU active)
2. Muxless Fixed Scheme (manual switching based on power or manual control between dGPU or iGPU, only 1 card active)
3. Muxless Fixed and Dynamic Scheme (Combination of the former 2)
It used to be that the catalyst control center offered a submenu to the options 2 and 3 called "Switchable Graphics Method", to choose between going fixed or dynamic.
Apparently ever since Catalyst 14.4 WHQL, ever since 14.4, that menu is GONE. I have been unable to bring it back. Has anybody got any clue as to why or how to remedy this issue? I sorely miss the ability to switch between the dGPU and iGPU exclusively since it did not require a full reboot and it had not negative impact on battery life or gaming performance. Any ideas mates?

have you checked LeekM's posts at Guru3D? i think i remember that his modded Catalyst drivers bring back that switch.

You can also not update the CCC or use an older one at least for now.
