    Welcome,

My own vbios mod for this card Amd M6100 2gb. This is bios for cards that use DELL vbios.

Tested on my MSI laptop, so dont know how this will work on other laptops.

    Things I changed:

    Final version

    1. core clock 1120mhz ( before 1150mhz )
    2. memory clock 1650mhz ( before 1725mhz )
    3. TDP 100W
    4. undervolted to 1.1v
    5. some other small fixes that helped to reduce throttling and improve performance.

Before flashing make backup of your current vbios. I dont take any responsibility if you damage your card. Do some tests before and after flashing. Let us know your results.

Edit 1: tested this bios 6 months, seems ok. I noticed from time to time small color dots when watching films so I decided to lower memory to 1700mhz.

Edit 2: always flash gpu bios in DOS not in windows!

Edit 3: on slower cpu gpu was not stable so this time decided to set also core clock to 1120mhz/1650mhz.

Updated bios with lower memory clocks. Enjoy

Edit: this is last version. I wanted to make max stability for long term use.

If someone is testing please update to the latest 1120/1650, older versions are not 100% stable on slower cpus...

    @raalph321

Hi thanks for sharing this Vbios for our m6100. You mentioned your latest file is the most stable for slower CPU's? I am currently using a 920xm in my m15x so my cpu fits the description right?

Also I haven't flashed an AMD MXM Gpu Vbios before. Do you think this guide which I think is for desktop gpus applies to our AMD MXM Gpu's as well? https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/amd-ati-flashing-guide.212849/

If you can share tips on how to flash vbios, I would appreciate it. Thanks again.

This bios should work with all cpus. If any problems in gaming just simply flash your original bios.

Guide seems ok. Make a dos bootable drive and backup your current vbios or try to do it with gpu-z.

Then do this from your guide in dos mode:

14.) Run the following command to get the adapter number no quotes please. " atiflash -i"

this adapter number could be 0, 1, 2

14b.) If you have not backed up your bios yet via GPU-Z above take this time to do it now using this command atiflash -s 0 orig.rom where " 0" is your adapter number!
15.) Prepare to flash your GPU using the following command substituting "0" with whatever device number your GPU is. and substitute xx with your .rom name.
    16.) atiflash -f -p 0 xxx.rom

If its your first time just try flashing your backup rom. Thanks to that you will learn how to do it.

I dont take any responsibility if you damage something.

    Good luck :)
