Sadly you won't see them until 1 year or 6moths. sometimes it takes 2 years. Also i think it won't be putting AMD/ATi back in the game since nvidia has already working on the product and releasing the 9 series to verse them.

I don't know if they'll release a mobile version of the X2, though I fully expect them to release a mobile version of the 3870, which would be a great competitor to the 8800m GTX.

As for the X2 desktop version, based on the majority of hardware review sites (as a minority actually report crappy results), it has supplanted the Nvidia 8800 Ultra in many game tests. AMD is back on top, although rather precariously without the most recent drivers.

I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I have an unnerving feeling that the Nvidia 9000 series will be extremely underwhelming. It might end up being to Nvidia what the HD2000 series was to ATI (hot, loud, so/so performance).

They hit a really high wall with the 8 series.

Agreed with StormEffect, Mobile verisons of 3850 and 3870 needs to be out for a while before X2 comes out...I'm really looking forward to the competitive price that this card will offer.

A/A is much more comfortable now than last year..3800 and 3600's low cost bring nvidia real challenge. though 8800gt and 9600 are more powerful,,but they are more expense due to 65nm.
rv670 mobile version will absolutely come out soon..i remember the TOSHIBA has announced to use it..
