Thanks for posting. I cannot wait. Utilization sucks hard in borderlands 2. Down to 20% during big battles.

Either way this is brilliant news! Lets hope things get just as awesome as if it was w/o Enduro! Then I might consider buying it versus the 680M (or not.. :p)

Hmmm, at 1080p showing less than 10% improvement. Not so great I think.

You need to go read about enduro issue before saying thing like that.

Not being able to lower the setting to play at 60 fps was the main issue, this seem to be fixed so i can't be more happy about this.

In 1080p he don't have under utilization issue in the first place. When he have 42 fps at ulta in BF3 it's already at full utilization.

Well to be honest, he sould add the utilization before and after the fix so we can see the difference.

    Good one.

I agree, fix or not, we need clear examples to see the real stuff

BF3 had one of the biggest complaints for under utilization, so 1FPS is hardly an improvement. And it wasn't consistently low, which is almost worse. It would go from 50 to 60 to 20-25fps. Average framerate doesn't show that kind of improvement.

The big complaints about BF3 is, you can't get 60 fps even with low setting.

Under utilization at max setting only happen in specific cases. I dont expect much improvement at max setting without testing thoses specific cases.( BF3 64 players map, GW2 WvW...)

At this point after 4 month with my 7970M I'm just really happy with the result of this test driver.

Playing with my setting to have 60 fps... I'm dreaming of this moment for so long. :)

I can reach 60fps in bf3 with my 7970, using latest 12.9 beta drivers and throttle stop. Without throttlestop it hardly reaches 35-40 fps (1920x1080 @ high settings)

Your issue is different Myx - you don' have Enduro and you need Throttlestop because your MOBO wasn't designed to fit a more powerful card than the 570M :p Throttlestop helps you to sustain higher power inputing your GPU!

Throttlestop helps with GPU? I thought it was for CPU only.

it is, AFAIK, but you can tone down the turboboost from the cpu

Funny thing is in my P150EM and W110ER dedicated GPU causes the CPU to not boost, but Throttlestop enables full boost with dedicated GPU. I don't think it does anything for GPU unless your system is at its absolute power limit, and then you clock down your CPU as you suggest to free up some power for the GPU.

You haven't tried messing around with a 6970M inside a W860CU with 2 HDDs and a lot of vBIOS' then :D things crash when you mess with the CPU lol only 150W to do good with

    nope :(

original rumor was that it would be out within the week after the anandtech article, but now people are saying sometime this month.

Quick question, what's with the 3Dmark 11 score? I can't pull that off with an overclock, you did it stock? lol how?

Wasn't stock! I forgot what clocks but they weren't game stable.
It used to be a link to the results but the forum conversion got rid of it.

Edit: Fixed the link...doesn't show the clocks.
