ANyone still play Guild Wars?

So I just snagged a copy of guild wars online for 8 bucks shipped to my door. It'll be here in a week or so but I was wondering if anyone here still played or not so I'd have a few friends to begin with

It looked pretty good just not worth the money back then nor is it worth 20$ now which seems to be the going rate. But for 8 bucks I can give it a try. Should I look into getting the other expansions and add ons? If so, do you guys know of any store that sells them at a good price (20$ or less, college tuition ftl)?

 

plenty of people still play the game, i for one use to play it alot untill i started playing css with my clan all the time. Its a good game but they removed all of the best farms and it got boring for me. If you need any tips just send me a msg and ill help you out.

 

I still play it some,I got nightfall to, which is cool. The heros are awesome in my opinion

 

Good game, played it for a year. Got bored. Waiting for Guild Wars 2 ...

PS: IMO wait for GW2 instead of buying add ons

 

well gw2 hasnt got a realease date so get gw 1 to get into the game / story because gw2 starts where eye left off.

 

Have it...don't play it anymore. Looking to sell the GW account for $20 with a lvl 18 necro/elementalist and a lvl 12 elementalist

Wait....$100? Did you buy all the expansion packs and leveled all your characters to 20? And how do you calculate the worth of your GW account anyways?

hit me up if you want to do some quests or missions or something, it's the only game I play so i'm on most of the time

 

I was a firecaster mage and loved it sooo uber powered. I hate the game now because I soent 3 months trying to get people to help me but no one would. The NPC's are utter rubbish and no-one would help me progress to the next area cos all the mosters were too tough for me to kill with the NPC's.

Not really a fan of the game or the community now.

 

I got the game off of ebay, someone played it and got tired of it so I bought it. I get a lot of my games that way like CoD:4, Rainbow Six Vegas 1, and a few ds games. I think i got vegas for 7 bucks, CoD for 20, and a very rare ds game imported form japan for 35$. I just refuse to pay 50$ for a computer game ever again after the disappointment that hellgate london was.

 

I saw someone selling his/her RANKED 9 account for $ 499...I laughed so hard and almost fell off my chair....
