Ain't many around that one can 'grab' from a store, usually they are online orders(ship or download).
I know for sure that there are tons of Japanese AO games....*cough* -
but I'm searching and searching and hopefully will find something. GTASA Hot Coffee Mod was fun and entertaining for...20 seconds. So I'm moving upwards!

A lot of these kinds of Japanese games tend to range from slightly strange to very, very... well, messed up. Let's just say that you should read the description of the game very carefully before you decide to play it. Or even install it. Or go too close to it without wearing protective gear.

I don't think I've ever even played an AO game or even seen one on the shelves anywhere. How many AO titles even exist on the planet?
-
I am intrigued. I need more info about AO games!
Come on share people. Don't post cryptic message
-
What does AO stand for... sounds very familiar...
-
"Adults Only" or Anarchy Online if you play MMOs.
There's a Sims-like game that got an AO rating called Singles. It was only released through online distribution though since stores don't carry AO games.
Besides that, I can't think of any other AO games out there. -
i searched wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AO-rated_products
-
How many? Hmmm, American ones, I'd say about a good 15 or so.
Japanese? About 800 easily, and counting... -
on earth..?
-
Pretty sure Singles was released and sold in stores here. Still a pretty crappy game though.
-
Well I know that Walmart never sells AO games or something, and they are the largest retailer in the US so thats a big reason. There isn't any law saying they can't be sold in stores.

Here's a list of all the western AO games, according to the wikipedia:

pretty much all sex-related -
Didn't I just post that?

From what I can tell, about the only game on that list that looks remotely worth playing would be Fahrenheit. I have Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude and it's awful. It's not even funny.
It's just bad.
Unfortunately, one of the things really holding back video games as an actual art form right now is the inability to integrate adult content like sex and nudity into the plot and gameplay in any kind of meaningful way. It's either a gimmick (LSL: Magna Cum Laude) or just a joke (God of War). Fahrenheit looks like the only one that actually tries to treat it the way grown-ups do.Last edited by a moderator: Jan 29, 2015 -
Basically I just want to see some crazy sex scenes as I beat people up and kill them and steal their drugs and then run over priests, nuns, and fake confession as my devil voice laughs and mocks everyone in the background.

No decapitations followed by throwing a grenade down the neck stump?

Well I'm downloading something I found from Japan -- I'll let you guys know how it turns out, but no way could I post pictures here.
-
There's this game company called Illusion Soft and they make excellent Hentai games. A really good one is Sexy Beach Three. Over at hongfire.com they have translated the game into English.

Wow, this thread definitely ended up in a place I didn't expect it to go....

So yeah, about the one I downloaded. I don't even know how I'd type the name of it it here you guys but either way it was lame. I couldn't even control my characters when killing or, um, other things besides robbing street people. you can pick between male or female and everyone is cartoonish and whacky and the game almost seems "E for everybody" because its so off the wall goofy. but the sex "cutscenes" are hilarious beyond belief.
BTW: www.hongfire.com doesnt load? -
Good luck with your search. I have trouble believing you will find anything that is 1. Good or 2. That is good and you can actually follow.
It would take a game which can include sex and extreme violence in the storyline seamlessly without it taking over and I have a feeling 90% of the games include it will sacrifice story, gameplay and just about everything to include as much sex and violence as possible. -
Interesting topic...
I don't know of any good AO games...

Depends on what the fluffy bunny is doing to the crap, Pulp ;-)

What kind of game exactly... I mean is there any storyline or gameplay besides the AO material? -
Anecdote time!
I had a friend once. He talked me into watching Kanon. I watched it. I thought "What the eff? ... this is ... stupid. It's the kind of ridiculous inane plot that some Japanese guy would come up with to have an excuse for a bunch of weird sex scenes." As it turns out, that was exactly the case, except that the anime doesn't have any sex in it.
Anyhow, the moral of the story is, h-game based animes are stupid. And the hentai is probably stupid too. -
Looking for something with GAMEPLAY and storyline and not just the AO content in particular. Having a hard time. Will display results later.

I'm closing this thread because apparently some users can't control what they say on the forums. This topic is too sensitive and it's gotten to the point where I can't leave it and trust it will stay appropriate.
