    Shouldn't have any problems with that game as posted.

    I agree - upgrading the RAM to 1GB will do wonders for your gaming performance. With only 512MB, your system will be using the page file a lot, thus slowing down the entire machine.

    I have AoE III and a X700 128 MB.
    It plays very well on a resolution of 1680X1050.
    Everything on high.

    yeah i'll definately eventually bump up to a Gig "o" ram

    AOE3 was a bit jumpy with 1GB of RAM at max settings.
    Runs smooth with 2GB though.

    I just tried the demo on my laptop the other day. I can run AOE III at the highest (without Bloom), SXGA 1280x1024 resolution. (OC'ed)

    I'll be experimenting with the settings a bit more today. So far, it looks like if you have an X700, you won't have any problems with this game. :)
