Ahhh god I can't wait, it's going to be fantastic, I've been playing the German version with English patch and it has been good, but I feel like the new release will be even better...

Anyway anyone want to get these for the ultimate experience lol...

And of Course the Novint Falcon, I will at least get this since I know it will be working with Operation Flashpoint 2

BTW... Wingnut if you comment here there is a demo of ARMA II available on www.Fileplanet.com

I bought the German version of ArmA II when it came out on May 29th. Although I owned both OPF and ArmA 1, I'm still pretty darn unsatisfied with the game and I question myself as to why I bought it so quick (probably was the first person in Canada or North America lol). Other than the poor performance and bugs the game’s alright, but I had high hopes for the multiplayer which at the moment is terrible. I'll tell you one thing though, the graphics are amazing and like nothing else I've seen in awhile.

I have the German version as well... but they have had a few months before they released it US... and the bugs were relatively minor, and I think they fixed some stuff before state side release

Yes, the new patch 1.02 has made the game much better, but again the multiplayer needs a complete overhaul. At the moment there is lack of organization and teamwork. Although the interface is better than ArmA 1 it is still pretty limited and lacks a friendly structure.

We'll hopefully it will get there... if not there is always OPFP 2, and that has support for both the above mentioned items lol

I bought it on Steam. Thanks ButterBiscuits. Just in the training doing the first aid run, my dude got stuck, I couldn't move. Unfortunately you can't just do that one section over, you have to do all boot camp sections again. No big deal, but I hope this isn't indicative of the full game.

i'm playing the demo now...pretty confusing game I find with a lot of controls...either that or I just need to get used to it. I'm gonna keep playing the demo for a bit and rebind most of the keys (arrows player :S) and hopefully try and figure things out lol! Question: am I always running by default?!

It definitely has a learning curve to it... I personally like it, but yea I guess it is a little bit glitchy at times... I hope Operation FLashpoint 2 does the trick for you guys if this doesn't I'll see you on both anyway!

I like how the camera moves up and down and the motion blur really adds a great effects to the game. The only problem is that this game chugs like crazy on my system. It is only the demo i played I hope it gets optimized later on but man I could play crysis on higher settings with no lag.

Huh I have a 8800 GT desktop... and it runs on very high pretty smoothly, the ATI 3650 shouldn't be too much lower... although I think the game is Quad supported as well
