    hi guys,

well ... when playing ARMA2 I get this major FLASH , screen goes up all white-bright and remains like this for 3-5 seconds and then get's right up back to normal.

Kinda like a very, very bright HDR effect while you look at the sun.

It only happens when CF is enabled. Could that be a hardware issue or a driver/patch compatibility ?

ARMA2 is the only title that has given me this problem.

    clueless here ...

So, when you disable CF and do the exact same thing(as you do in CF and it white screens), it doesn't flash white?

Try different drivers, like older ones if you've updated recently. A good way to change drivers is: un-install drivers(and delete them), reboot, run driver sweep, reboot, and install driver. If that fail its under warranty, right?

    :/ yep .... for another 4 years

Yeah, I kinda thought of that that it could be a drive related issue , as I haven't experienced anything like this in any other title, and yes, it only happens when the system's CF is enabled
