I have a ASUS G1s (Vista 32, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.20GHz, 2G RAM Nvidia 8600m GT etc.) and I tried to install Gears of War, but it tells me,"To run Gears of War with your current hardware setup, you must install the following software update or updates:

    + NVIDIA ForceWare 163.44 Driver"

I downloaded the 163.44 Vista 32-bit from Nvidia, but whenever I try to run this, it tells me,

"Setup detected that the operating system in use is not Windows Vista [32-bit]. This setup program and its associated drivers are designed to run only on Windows Vista [32-bit]. This installations will be terminated."

    How do i fix this?

Thanks man. I tried it, but it still said that same thing that my laptop is a 32-bit (however I have a 32-bit). Do you think I should try the 64-bit or is there anything else I can do?

Are you running on Vista Home Premium 32-bit? You could try the 64-bit one .. if it won't work it won't do any harm :) Hmm very strange ..

You need to replace the inf with the modded one. Read the instructions on LV2G or the stickies here. This question has been asked a million times.
