i brought this new laptop few days ago and im very happy with it, but i just got 1 question when i play crysis i go to settings and i click on optimize settings(best performance recommended settings) and the system puts everything automatically on high, but then the game is ultra lagy i think my fps is under 10, i got to manually change the graphics to medium and i think i have around 30fps. so how come the system picks settings that it cant handle to well? do i have to update drivers or something?
also same goes with call of duty 4 when i optimize settings it puts most of the settings on high but the fps is around 20 at some parts (highest 35) and i like to keep the fps above 35. (preferably 40)
i noticed the NVIDIA control panel when u right click on desktop, are there a any settings in there i am suppose to change to improve the performance of my fps while still having highish graphic settings?
thx for any help

i have the m50 s, same processor, the 3650, same level of performance. it says high for me too, but our laptops just aren't powerful enough to handle it, its perfectly normal. drivers wont fix it.

i c, well im new to this stuff and just wondering if i overclock this laptop can i get better performance without changing settings to low? if so how can i overclock without any risk of screwing my new laptop up

The 9500GS card that you have is on par with the 8600M GT DDR2. Maybe do some searching around on here to see what other users with that card are putting on Crysis.
From what I remember, it is generally on medium with shaders turned off? I don't play Crysis or I would tell you the exact settings -
That's correct, they aren't powerful enough.
The overclock you can reach is 600MHz core / 1250MHz shaders and 475MHz memory (950MHz effective). Most of the notebooks reach these settings.
And turn off your AA / AF. It's screwing your FPS. -
