It won't install properly... I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. 11.3 won't either.

Anyone have a direct download for the actual display drivers? I don't need the full package, everything else is still isntalling.

This is a fresh windows 7 install... at the moment I'm on the default VGA drivers.

It says all of this stuff is installed but still no drivers...

    I also get a "warning"

    Sony VPCEC290X

I just formatted and reinstalled Windows. I've had this issue before but 11.4 installed.

See, it's working now because under custom it says "display driver"

but when I did 11.4 it didn't have the display driver listed.

So idk =\ I'll try upgrading to 11.4 after installing 11.3.

    edit: seems to have worked

I thought there was some hack you had to do to make ATI drivers work with Sony laptops because they didn't believe in users upgrading their own software or something equally asinine like that.

You just have to bypass the install manager and use a direct download.
