    Hi all ,
I bought from eBay this 4870M taken from Alienware. This was listed like (primary) card in in crossfire mode. When I install it , the colors was 8 bit and resolution cannot be changed . Then I closely look at the card I found VBIOS chip was 64 kB except of the ordinary 128 kB . After a lot of research and tests , finally i decide to change the BIOS with one double sized , but first i program the BIOS with programmer . And finally i've got a nice working ATI 4870M video . If someone going to buy 4870M from Alienware just beware of this problem .

    Cheers :)

The memmory size of vBIOS on FIRST ATI Video Card is half of size of normal ATI Single Video Card working "alone" - 64 kB against 128 kB.
