I purchased a Sony Vaio EA (VPCEA16FA) about a month ago. And while I was testing the HDMI connection on my 32" HDTV, I couldn't find any way to get the native resolution of the screen which is 1360x768. This really bothers me cuz the picture quality between the native and the 720p (1280x720) is a big difference on the screen. I have tried different kind of settings on the Catalyst 10.11 control panel and there isn't a single option to force the resolution I want!! I mean Nvidia has this feature, what prevents ATI from having it :S

    bump!

plz if anybody has solution I would really appreciate it

EDIT: Never mind I discovered what the problem is. It turns out my TV can display the resolution 1360x768 on HDMI2 only while HDMI1 will only display standard HD resolutions (720p). :(
