ATI Catalyst 10.1(RC1/Beta) Mobile Driver For XP/Vista/Win7 All Versions (32/64Bit)
Quite Large File (329MB). Almost All Cards Supported. Mobility HD4650/HD4200IGP/HD4570 Tested And Worked Without Error.
Found The Driver @ station-drivers.com. Their Server Is Slow So I Re upload It To Hotfile (60Sec Waiting Time But Faster Than Station-Drivers)
Download From Here(HotFile) Or Download From Station-Drivers

Those are the beta/RC1 10.1 drivers, not the final ones. You should put that in the title of the thread as it may lead to confusion, specially today as 10.1 official has been released.

Can someone please check if stretch to full screen is available, on non native resolutions?
I'm using 9.12 modded with MD, and lower resolutions is still causing "letter boxing". -
-
I can't wait, will be great to finally be able to play games in non-native res. My CF 3870, really can't handle many current games on that resolution, and I hated lowering, and having the letterbox to be very annoying. -
Nice to see "official" drivers that doesent need modding.
And nice to see support to ATI Mobility HD 5000.
Great find! -
Hi There,
I can't install it on my Notebook Asus F3Sa with ATI Mobility Radeon HD2600 and Windows 7 Home Premium 32 BIT.
I don't see my card on the list above. Maybe should I modify file?
What should I do with it? -
-
i hope that my asus can use this driver...
-
They are modified for Notebooks, are they?
I'm still waiting for suggestions. -
-
Are you sure that it will help?
-
-
Tried installing the catalyst 10.1 but it gives me errors (only CCC is installed). I had already modded the driver but it's still a no go. I'm using the Asus M50sa with ATI mobility HD 3650.

The best one is here http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=454204
Im using those and they seem to be the best.Yes they actually installed without modding. 8.683 version -
Did anyone sucessfully installed and gained a very noticeable performance increase in games with these drivers
-
I've decided to stick with the 9.12 driver after yet another fail attempt. Will wait for the 10.2 driver instead.

any sign of amd/ati fully supporting notebook drivers like nvidia has done?
-
Darth Bane Dark Lord of the Sith
you can download 10.1 from amd/ati's website.
-
I couldn't get 10.1 from ATI to install on a SXPS 1640 under Windows 7. Though I didn't think to try installing without running it through the Mobility Modder first.
-
Doing a clean install, but there is no option to install the display drivers and CCC in setup. Just ATI install manager.
Anyone know how to remedy this issue? -
-
Mobility Modder needs to be updated for 10.1 . They are looking into it.
-
Edit
Works for me, if I choose not to restart after uninstalling the org. drivers and installing 10.1 after modding it, right away. -
i downloaded the official driver....mod it using mobility modder, but the driver fails to install.....there is no error shown while modding though...

I downloaded the desktop 10.1 and modded it with the latest mobility modder, but it installed with errors and only installed the control panel , I also tried the have disk method and got a error no match in the .inf file or something.
I have a HD4330 -
I believe the problem lies with the mobility modder. Just give it a few days for the guys to fix it
.

-
wait, how is this driver different from the one on the ati site?
they dont have a latest 10.1 driver for mobility HD radeon on their site, but they do for the desktop radeon cards, cant i just modify those to work with my HD 3650? Their download is only 70mb but this is 300mbs? -
-
No clue if it will work though.
Oh that is for Win7 64bit -
any updates yet for the mobility driver?...

If you dont already know the device id is what make a display driver work with your graphic card or not, if the .inf file does not match your device id it will not work.
This is the Same for Nvidia or Ati.

Anyone tested it and noticed more performance ?? I see problems in installing it

AMD/ATI`s lack of mobile drivers support apart from some integrated versions is really getting on my nerves, should we start a thread to pressure them into full mobile gpu support.
-
Im sure they had a lot of those. I really doubt threads have that much impact either

Can not install display drivers on 5920g with ati mob. radeon 4650.
I only managed to install CCC with from time to time gives me an error and closes.
Anyone managed to get the display drivers to work? -
If you are talking about 10.1 drivers it seems you missed a few posts. Currently the mobility modder tool doesnt work on 10.1 drivers, they are still trying to update it.
-
Thank you for the answer.
I have read the hole thread but because on the first post was mentioned about ''tested and working'' especially for the gpu i have, i thought it could be better to ask.
So we wait... -
According to HardwareHeaven they are still working on it, not sure how he managed to get it to work if he did
You are not really missing anything 10.1 are considered awful drivers and most people are waiting for 10.2 and 10.3 which its been said that they are going to have some major changes in them. -

One sign that this is actually true is that, (IIRC) the 8.70 beta drivers floating around direct from AMD (with the AMD logo and all) actually DO include moderate mobility support built-in.
My brothers using those on his desktop and they're actually not bad drivers either...seem to be an early revision of what might make it into 10.2 (obviously without a lot of the optimisations etc). From the sounds of it they're a better driver than the 10.1 official.
Give them a try:

I believe these may be courtesy of rflair over on guru3d? -
i am running xp and i have updated the driver via control panel. i also installed hydravision 10.1 separately. i modded them of course, but i dont know if they would work if u didnt mod them. has anyone tried installing the CCC with success?
