i guess everyone downloaded new driver from ati
    (Catalyst Control Center)
mine is ati 200m, which isn't good
anyway i was just looking its features and
    i got some few questions.
1 would increase on anti-aliancing, anisotropic filter, hipman detail, and Catalyst A.I(enable) would make gameing better?
2 if not, what can i do to improve game performance using catalyst "thingy"
well i would like to know more about it too
    thnks

Well I can tell you this much, keep the anti-aliasing and anisotropic filter off, or leave them up to the applications. They will kill your card. I have the ati x300, which is just slightly better than the 200, and AA and AF are just too hard on the card. You will actually get better performance by disabling them, but it will bump down your graphics a bit. I have both turned off all the time for any games I play.

You could try some AF, it is usually just best to leave AA along and run at a higher resolution. x1400 is still considered a low end card. You can also overclock your x1400, that is what I do with my x300, make quite a bit of difference. Best thing to do with any game is to just mess around with setting until you get something that looks good and plays smooth. I play around with each game on my x300 to get settings that I am satisfied with.

I have the Ati Radeon Xpress 1100 is there anyway to figure out if I have the latest driver? Can I update using the Ati Catalyst Control Center, which I already have but never use it?
