got a 5760, recently I have been unable to start the catalyst control center for my display settings. No error message occurs, it just doesnt open. when I try and update the software I get an INF error...

any ideas on how to go about fixing this problem?

    cheers

Uninstall the software and the driver. Reinstall the driver. Then reinstall the software.
