This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    ATI Control Center not running

    Installed Catalyst 7.3 mobility and the 7.4s on my laptop with x1400 and ati control center will not run, gives an runtime error. I have net framework 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0 installed all from windows update, im running xp pro

    I got the same problem after I reformatted my notebook.
    I didn't try to fix it though. I just uninstalled catalyst. It's not required (you just need the drivers).

    But I'd be interested to hear if anyone has a real answer to this.
