    Hello!

I have an Acer 8935G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 that runs Vista HP 32bit.
The drivers I can download from Acer site are version 8.593.1.0.

Can I update them with officials ATI Drivers?
Are this the drivers I have to use? They don't seem for Mobility Radeon cards, but from the main AMD page I can only find drivers for Mobility Radeon X series and 9xxx series.

    Thanks a lot!

Yes you use those drivers then download mobility modder and extract the drivers then run the modder and your set to go.

    The steps are:

Download the new ATI drivers, extract them but then cancel when they prompt to install.

Download Mobility Modder and run that, browse to where the ATI drivers are extracted then run the modder. Make sure you run driver sweeper first to clean all the old drivers then follow the first steps and your all set.

    Hello Pdario,

Yes and no. You can't update the software with the original ATI drivers since AMD (maker of ATI cards) has made some deal with alot of notebook manufactures that the normal drivers won't work on the laptop.

The way I always update my ATI drivers on my notebook is through this site: http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool.php (ATI MobilityModder)
Follow those instructions to be able to use the official ATI drivers.

Yes, those are the drivers you can use

Download the desktop drivers from the site you linked, the download the tool DeXes linked and follow the instructions, that should mod the drivers so you can install them on the notebook.
