Is that graphics card any good for Valve games, I will prolly be playing TF2, Portal, Portal 2(when its out), and Left for dead 2.

On a side note can I play Mass Effect 1 or 2 on mid settings with it?

    Thanks.

Those games tend to rely on CPU more than many other games, and should run fine on the 3450 - that said, don't expect very high settings. I would imagine you'd be looking at low-mid graphics settings.

Mass Effect 1/2 will most likely not run at medium settings, depending on the resolution. My Radeon 3650 runs ME1/2 at maxed settings at 1440x900 resolution, just to put it in perspective.

Cpu is a core duo 2.4, and its mobile.

What about a mobile 5450 with the list games?

They are still weak, but the CPU might help ya out. VALVe loves CPUs, but also loves GPUs. "L4D2 is very plygon-heavy, and I guess so will be Portal 2, so med-low at 720p.

Dang not even light gaming? This will be my programming and browsing the web laptop. And maybe 1 hour of TF2, Portal, or L4D2 a day.
