whenever i start any game.. be it CS 1.6, MW2, Batman AA, Crysis etc.

the screen will go blank for 5 seconds..then the resolution will become 640X480 for 5 seconds..then again screen goes blank for 5 seconds...and then finally after 20-30 seconds..the game will finally start showing the main menu or intro video.

as if the graphic card cant make up its mind to start the game immediately in the previously selected resolution.

it didnt happen for first 2 months .

but since i started playing Crysis...the game froze many times due to overheating i think..and since then..this problem started.

is it settings related issue ? driver related issue or some hardware issue?

defo try installing drivers first to see if it fixes it.

the prob sounds strange tho. maybe it starts in wrong refresh rate or sth..
