Anyone else having this problem? I'll start up the game and if I have the in-game graphic options set to High I'll get BSOD crash within seconds. If I have them set to Low I get a few minutes before the BSOD. Can't find any other mention of this specific issue...

I'm downloading the mobile drivers to reinstall on my Asus V1JP again now, so I'll report back after. But damn I'd really like to run the more powerful ATI drivers as provided by the new hack found at DH if I can.

    Thoughts?

Very true...ATI hasn't been too helpful...and they will not even release official updated drivers past Catalyst 7.2

Do you have problems with any other games? If so, then it sounds like the issue is isolated to this game. The first thing you should do is look for patches.

Ya Cool, don't mind him. He just posts that same message over and over again and ignores any pms/posts to the contrary, and he hasn't realized that nvidia is worse at it yet...anyway though, definitely check for patches and you can try compatibility mode as well. Note what the BSOD is when it comes up and post it. For instance is it a NMI Memory Parity Error BSOD or a atimktag BSOD or...?

Cat, night_2004 is referring to how ATI has completely dropped official support for its Mobility Radeon products. Now, it is certainly possible to use a newer driver set through use of the Mobility Modder, but drivers can no longer be downloaded directly from ATI for use with notebooks (officially). Also, he did not make any comparison to Nvidia so that is quite frankly irrelevant.

We have been traditionally been able to download mobile drivers in the past and the fact that we can't now is disappointing, no doubt.
