    Does anyone know if this would work in an Acer 6930g ? and if so, would it be worth upgrading from my 9600gt 1gb ddr2?

    Its worth upgrading yes, but it DEFINATELY WONT fit you 6930g.

    Ok thank you :)... might just upgrade to the 9600gt ddr3 then and with the money saved maybe a x9100. its so different coming from a desktop to laptop.

    If your games aren't running too slow now, I'd honestly recommend just holding on to your machine and selling the whole thing and buy a new one when you want to upgrade. It's a pain in the rear to unload individual laptop parts.
