    Hi,

how does the performance of the ATI Mobility FireGL V5600 and the Nvidia Quadro FX 570M compare?
I'm asking because the HP Notebook with the Ati card (KE188EA) is about 150 Euro cheaper than the exact same model with Nvidia card (KE186EA).

    Greets, grio

And I guess they are both patchable with 'gaming'-drivers?

hey amongs the 2 of them the nvidia is the better card overall. however, in benchmarks of the desktop versions the ati is better ONLY at maya...

if u want a general purpose card, definitely the nvidia... and yea both of them will handle games without a problem... and u can install the geforce drivers on them.
