I would love to see some ATI HD2600 512mb ddr2 video test results (3dmark06, FRAPS, etc...No overclocks please) from different games including: Bioshock, WIC, Halo 2?, HL2, CSS, BF2
I don't know if I will get Halo 2 or not, maybe...

Yeah, though that's a GDDR3 card. Check out the Toshiba A200 (I think that's it) for the DDR2 version of the card.

The DDR2 HD2600? It's not at all horrible, it performs pretty much the same as the DDR2 8600M-GT.

I'm getting my HDX in a few days. If HP dont go and delay it again. That has a 256mb HD2600XT, which has DDR3. Ill post some benchmarks of that when I can. Although, I believe the XT is clocked alot higher so might not be so useful

    Hi

Just bought a toshiba A200 laptop with an ati hd 2600 512mb card.
The graphics card isn't anything spectacular but I can play my fave game Far Cry @ 1280 by 800 with nearly everything maxed out on 35-45 FPS.
It runs BioShock like a dream on high, COD 2 looks sweet, MOH 4 nice and I'm hoping that it will run Crysis on low to moderate.
3Dmark 06 scores jumped up nearly 200 after running latest driver (after modded) not OCed
    3070 marks, now 3245.
not too bad for a laptop
I scored the laptop on sale from Harvey Norman Australia for $2500 aus
It was a show off demo one off from toshiba (so far) for Harvey Norman
    T7300 core 2 duo 2gh
    2gb DDR2 ram 667mh
    Ati hd 2600 512mb
    2 yep 2 160gb hardrives
High Definition dvd drive with dual layer burning
HDMI out so I can hook it up to my HD tv
12 cell battery around 2 good hours of gaming or 5 hours of typing.

I know there are way better units available and my next will be an alien laptop with SLI graphics, but for now I can do a spot of gaming while procrastinating over study

    Cheers
