The problem is, when I play new games e.g.: Call of Duty World at War, Tomb Raider Underworld, Need For Speed Undercover, Fallout 3... I get good performance ~30-60 FPS but in the same place where I have 60 FPS it drops to ~5-15 FPS with no reason and stays like that up to 3 minutes then it comes back to normal FPS and its playable again, it happens often but in different time periods, some times after each 2 minutes or every hour... I have tried changing and disabling CCC but it didn't work.
Any ideas?![]()

Try updating your drivers. Also you would like to check your GPU temps. by using a software like HWMonitor.

I have latest drivers at the moment, my ATI Mobility X1600 doesn't have GPU temp sensor
I've been thinking about high GPU temp but if it is about temp why the FPS drops down and then go up again... I wont believe that droping down FPS it is cooling process
but...

When a graphic cards exceeds its maximum threshold limit, it underclocks itself to save it from being damaged. Hence, the low fps. Since the card is an X1600, I presume it is at least 1.5-2 years old. Have you tried to clean the vents because dusts and small particle accumulate in the fans reducing their capacity to cool over a period of time. If you haven't then do it using a can of compressed air.
