I can run some Benchmarks later the day. I think the 3DMARK06 score should be around 8000...

I am from Germany and at work now...

Bench in whatever you like really

3dmark06 is more of a system performance overall mark if you want to stress a high end gpu try vantage but tbh i am not a fan of vantage, i prefer 3dmark06

You can also underclock your GPU, just try it in little steps until your system become unstable.

    Good luck

The AMD OC tool has worked for me and is a good alternative since I cant even install these drivers on the W90, also when all else fails there is GPU BIOS flashing :p

NEVERMIND MY LAST POST, this thing works its the real deal! for sum reason the new clocks dont show up in sum others programs but in game testing reveals the overclock is indeed real, thanks a lot og for this program :)
    for example i took my 3650 from 600,500 to 800, 600 for a 10fps boost in cod4!!

unless you do it at your own risk and know what you are doing, don't do it

    laptops are unlike desktops.

a desktop 'normal' idle temperatures are relatively low compared to a laptop

this makes a chance for overclocking or even more and more overclocking with an enhanced cooling system

but the situation is different with laptops where temperature is difficult to be controlled due to limited space and limited cooling system expansion

also if you damaged the gpu, you can't replace it on most systems

and of course any damage with a laptop is costly :D

Great job, just keep an eye on the temps for secure. I use a Sharkoon Coolbook 360 to cool my notebook anyway.

In the case of the mobility 4650 i can say overclocking is safe for me. The temps go up only 1-2 celsius... I think even a notebook can do the more on temps....

    I still can't overclock my Studio 17's HD3650.

Heck, I can barely even get any type of drivers (other than the default Win7 one) to install, and when I manage it, my performance tanks.

I understand 4670 is technically an overclocked version of 4650. Can anyone compare an overclocked 4650 with a stock 4670 to verify this?

    I cant overclock it either.
Its because Dell has locked up our card..

    Anyways a 4670 should be getting around 6800-7000 Points in 3dMark 06

Well you can always try... ppl said that that Hp had locked the BIOS in Dv5 and i was able to overclock with NVDIA system tools... remember one thing, when OCing , some programs like NVDIA system tools don't work unless your laptop is on AC power...
