    Any huge difference between these two Graphic Cards? I know the 5850 is better of course but how so?

    Yes, there's a huge difference. The 5850 is about twice as powerful, assuming it has GDDR5.

    Yup, 2x sounds about right, and that's being nice.. The 5650M offers no competition to the GDDR5 5850M.

    You newbies really should open your eyes and look around before posting. Yesterday half the threads on the front page were closed by mods because the OP didn't read the stickies first. The first thread on this board says quite clearly "All X vs Y Graphics Card comparisons here ***read before posting***"

    To answer your question though, it depends on how important price is to you. Like the others said, the 5850 is WAY faster than the 5650, but the 5650 is still a fairly capable card, and can be had at a much lower price.
