This laptop is driving me crazy, It has a problem that I've never seen before!
I kept trying ATI drivers and HP drivers but they were all not working right.
The maximum resolution I can get in any game was 800x600. But anyway this is not the issue, everytime you restart the computer, or you finish an application the hardware acceleration sets itself to none, and the color quality sets itself to 16 bit, Every time I start the computer I have to adjust all these, and when I do, the ATI control panel appears. Finally I installed Omega drivers, The games performance is much better, I can play now on higher resolutions, the graphics are much better. But in the middle of a game, the picture turns black, the game still runs, you can hear sound, but no picture. I close the game and I find the Hardware acceleration set to None, by itself. sometimes It sets itself to none after a screen saver, I have to keep adjusting it all the time. Also the memory shows 128 MB while some games show 256 MB. Please any Suggestions.
