hey, just ordered an iBook for school purposes but
i guess a lil gaming wouldn't hurt.. the only game i'll prly play is
    WC3: frozen throne..
my iBook will come with 768 mb of RAM.. and it comes with the
    ATI Radeon 9550..
will i b able to run WC3 smoothly on it? that's my only concern.. as i wait for 2 more weeks.. for it to ship lol

No problem. The MR9550 is a pretty decent card comparable with the X300 (however, the 9550 has a slightly slower core clock speed and is an AGP card).
Do remember that the system requirements of Warcraft 3 is very low (recommended 32MB video card with directX 8 support, no other requirements), so the 9550 should be able to handle it laglessly at 1024 rez with everything on max.

I am a WC3 fan too.. I play it almost everyday for the last 3 years.
When I was using my P4M 1.8ghz laptop with Ati 7500M, it runs WC3 smoothly without a problem. Don't worry about using Ati 9550 on WC3
By the way, I think I asked this question 3 years ago when I bought my last laptop :)
