I'm thinking there isn't an easy way. GPU tool and CCC don't work. Would modifying the bios be the only way, or am I missing something? I bought this laptop because it was a lot cheaper than going for one with the HD 4570 and I thought I could overclock it to bring it up its performance level. Far Cry 2 is unplayable in multiplayer with 25 FPS, and that is with everything as low as it will go. The graphics chip should easily overclock at least 50%. Should I try the Radeon Bios Editor? I'm kind of afraid of messing something up since it isn't directly supported.

ATI Tool might support it though. It may not have been updated to properly support newer cards, and then you're out of luck.

The 4330 is a piece of crap, by gaming standards. You made a mistake.

Hmm I guess you get what you pay for. Try ATI tool. Does Nibitor work with ATI cards to modify bios? If it does you could try that...

No overclocking tools in windows work with this card. I tried in XP and Vista. I'm trying to extract the bios using ATIFlash, but I'm having trouble with the USB flash drive, but I'll sort that out later. I don't really trust extracting it from windows, at least not in this situation.

Ok, atiflash can't find the adapter.

I was barely able to extract the bios using winflash. Now I need to compare it to the HD 4570 bios and find a way to be able to flash to the video card bios.

It no longer works on the newer drivers, since 9.4 or something.

Ati has mobile support for most notebook unless the manufacturer have not given them permission, but you can usually get hacked .inf support for them too, it just takes a little longer.
