Which one is better, if the Nvidia is better, which ATI should I upgrade to so it'll be equivalent to the Nvidia GeForce 3? Thanks. (Sorry, I don't know a lot about graphics cards).

First, you can't upgrade your video card in laptops.
Second, I'm assuming you're thinking about buying an old laptop, and if so, you're stuck with what you get.
    Otherwise, welcome to yesterday.

The X1600 destroys the GeForce 3, because it was made 4 years later. And you can't upgrade laptop GPUs, like the above poster said.

No I have ATI Radeon Mobility X1600, but if it's higher than how come I can't play a game that requires graphics equivalent to or higher than the Nvidia GeForce 3?

What game? What are your specs? It's hard to give a good answer without knowing those. :)

lol After reading the title, I was actually thinking 10 series ahead of the GeForce 3... like the Geforce GTX280, I was thinking more down the line of Geforce GTX3xx or GTX380 or something :p
