    I'd say yes.

    MRX1300 - 4 pixel shader units, 2 vertex units, DX 9, Core = 400mhz
    R7200 - 2 Pixel shader units, 1 vertex unit, DX 7 Core = 166mhz

that and the fact that the ps and vs units arent used in anything other than a few tech demos, microsoft went with a different spec while the 7200 was in production, the 1300 is vastly superior, though defiantely not a hardcore gaming card, the 1400 or greater would be a better option if its available to you

Yeah I have the MRX1300 on my laptop but a game I bought wanted 7200. And not being computer smart I thought 7200 is better because its a bigger number.
    So thank-you so much.

the 7000 series was based the original radeon chip, the x1300, albeit bottom rung, is the most modern design, and for a portable laptop, not a bad card, hardcore gaming is still desktop bound, 17" and larger units arent very portable, you can move them from room to room, but its not a pack and go use anywhere machine, and while the high end graphics are great, in a years time they wont be so great, and usually not upgradeable, and high end gaming laptops usually run twice as much or more than comapareably performing desktops, and you cant game on battery, at least not for very long, there is going to have to be a major revolution in heat output/power consuption/cooling schemes before portable pc gaming is really viable
