I have been attempting to set up different clock profiles in ATI Tool, really just down clocking but when I downclock the memory by only 25mhz in ATI tool it crashes my comp.

Now the core can be lowered all the way and nothing happens.

Solution = You have to turn on powerplay function in the drivers. You may have noticed that it is possible to turn down memory frequency IF the laptop is running on the battery because in that situation its already downclocked a bit.

I can underclock the gfx to 120/135, if i go lower i get weird artifacts while watching DVDs (picture gets all blury all over the screen).
