    ATI Tray Tools Does Work for the X1400

    You just have to use version .63 instead of the current .64.

    Just thought I'd let you guys know since alot of people here apparently dont know.

    I noticed that ATT won't work with the Mobility 6.4. I mean it works, but the overclocked values reset when you start the game.

    I noticed the same issue. I had the desktop 6.4 drivers modded to install on my laptop - the mobile 6.4's froze up when I OC'ed. They worked for a few days then cut out. Switched to the Omega 6.3's, they rock .

    Thanks for the info on the X1400 + ATT, glad to see it finally works. Much better than PowerStrip.

    Your kidding me, I've screwed around my comp with powerstrip and this stupid fan program (I9kg---somethign like that), and all I needed was an older version. Argh, how seriously disappointing.
    Guru 3d is actually saying the current version is 1.0.5.880. Are you saying I should install version 1.0.2.663 (May 12, 2005). Whcih one exactly?

    I don't know where to get either of them (ATT or powerstrip) Googled, it, a few sites popped up, but I don't know if I can trust them. anyone know any reputable sources? Links would help...

    I think usapatriot has confused Ati Tray Tools with Powerstrip. I think he means that powerstrip 3.63 works with overclocking the x1400 and that 3.64 does not. 3.65 will actually overclock the x1400 also, except it is limited to the core, it can not change the memory. Once again, I am pretty sure that ATT still will not work for the x1400.
