Hi all, I got a quick and simple question. Can I run Crysis with everything on low with an ATI X700 128MB?

    Thank you for any replies.

Is the game playable at least? (Without crashes and errors coming up all the time).

Not sure, but I believe Crysis will be a DX10 game. If that's the case you'll need a DX10 card. If not, it will definately need the tip top of machine specs. Of course, you could always give it a shot? Typically you can run any game on a mid to low end card the question is will it be playable.

No, thats false. It will run on current gen cards like x800 series, x1600 series and above. I doubt it will work on a 128mb X700, even on all low, but its possible.

its too early to tell if it will run or not, Id hazard a guess and say it will run, if its playable or not, you'll have to wait till a demo comes out, if they release one

Thanks for all the help guys. I'll just wait for the official supported list of cards to come out and see. If not, I'm going to get a new desktop and put the X1900XTX in it and play but thanks for all your replies!

by the time it comes out dx10 cards should be hitting their refresh cycle, wich sometimes doesnt mean much, ie 9700 to 9800, but the difference between the 1800 and 1900 was huge, and simialr for the 7800 to 7900

yeah a demo would be nice to test out hardware before buying a next gen game. I believe it would be a good idea, being as though its next gen there is no way to tell what hardware it will run properly.
