Pretty sure I messed something up when trying to do the modded driver. I can't open catalyst control center from desktop with right click and I had to use dxdiag to see my driver version. It's 8.14, is this what I need? Why can't I get to catalyst center? I downloaded the catalyst software suite from here http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=vista64/common-vista64 for my 3670. Is it the wrong the driver suite?

    Thanks in advance!

Did you use the latest Mobility Modder? Version 1.1.1 adds support for the following:

Also, I don't think that the Mobility Modder always works on drivers that are released *after* the latest Modder release. On their forums I see threads describing problems with version 9.3, not to mention 9.4.

Lastly, I'm pretty sure that the installer leaves a log at the end of the installation for you to check that everything went OK.

I got catalyst center back. Is the mod supposed to update 2D driver version or the Driver packaging version?

MM simply modifies an INF file that the setup.exe refers to for a list of cards which it can install the driver on.

Ah, I had something simular when I failed my driver installation a week ago when I was trying something (stupid).

Anyways do this, uninstall ATI drivers (driver sweep or add/remove is what I did), then get mobility modder lastest version, download 9.1 Catalyst package. Follow mobility modder instructions and it works great.

Im reccomending Catalyst 9.1 because I had some pauses/loading freeze in Crysis with the 9.3.

Also the newer drivers require a modded inf as well, I haven't gave that a go yet. Probably will in the future.

I would recommend 9.1 as well, it has been working flawlessly for me for a while now. It seems to be the latest driver that can be reliably modified.
