    Hey, do you guys know if the ATI x1270 performs better or worse than the Intel X3100? Will the ATI card be able to handle CS:S with medium settings? (that's the only game i'll probably be playing)

    From my experiance. I have a laptop with 2 gigs of ram, AMD Turion x2 1.9GHz, and the X1270 and it doesnt run CS:S good at all. Not even on low settings. It gets around 17fps. But everywhere I read claims you can run it on a laptop identical to mine at like 30 fps with everthing on high. Either somethings wrong with mine, or they are talking out thier butt

    This thing CAN run Half Life 2 at high settings at around or higher then 30FPS. I've never played counter strike so I can't really comment on how well it'd run that, but if it uses the HL2 engine, I imagine performance would be similar.
