    Hey all!

I am trying to flash the vBIOS of my FirePro M7820 from the HP Version to the Dell Version. I was able to acquire the Dell Version of the M7820 and changed the Sub-Vendor ID from Dell's to HP's (0x103C).

However, when I saved it from RBE and used WinFlash to flash it, the SubSystemID Error kept generating. Is there a way to see why it is doing that and do I have to resort to force flashing if I do want to attempt it?

    Thanks all!

Don't bother. If your force flash it, you will brick your GPU, which then you will have to RMA to HP, if they will even repair it.

Well... The unit I have now is going to get returned to HP per an agreement for a new replacement unit I am getting next week, so I could risk it per se. However, even by modifying the SubVendor ID, it is still no go. That is the part I am stumped upon.

Again don't bother. If there was a fix for that, Asus, MSI, and Clevo users would be using AW's vBios for the 5870M/5850M.
