I have no problems with BF2 on my X700. I am running at maximum settings, 1280x960 resolution, zero problems.

Make sure you have 1GB of memory or more to play the game smoothly.

I run BF2 nicely on my X700 256mb on medium settings. The game lags and slows down when I'm at max settings.

I run BF2 on my 64MB x700 at 1024x768 with a few settings at medium. Runs pretty darn fluidly I think. Only time I have problems is Strike at Karkand if I'm sitting around 20 other soldiers all running around at once. But even then, it's still playable.
