As soon as my m15x gets here i'll be hooking it up to my TV downstairs.

Hopefully i want to play World of warcraft on the TV with decent rezolution but i have heard that TV's really can't go that high so when playing games it can look
very edgy and you can see the pixels clearly.

Do you think it will look alright? Specs on laptop are:

    T9300 Core 2 duo 2.5ghz 6mb cache
    8800M GTX
2,000,000,000 bytes of ram xD I wanted to be different.

Also while we are on the subject, an Xbox 360 that costs about 250 dollars can play games on the TV with fantastic graphics ( Grand theft auto 4, Assassin's creed ) and there are no jaggys!

How does such a cheap computer system able to play great looking games while if you want to play them with a computer you need to spend four times as much.

run the same game - xbox to TV, and laptop to TV.

figure out the native resolution of your TV, and make sure your computer is running that resolution.

get some anisotropic filtering and anti aliasing going on your computer.

it will look dramatically sharper and more impressive than your xbox.
