What are the chances that the AW m9750 will be able to upgrade to the new nVidia 8800GTX gfx cards? Thanks for any info.

Don't bet money on it. I'd probably ask again next year when the new cards are actually out and more info on design specs is available.

    2401PT,

I would like to recommend you to make your own "What SLI gaming notebook should I get" thread.

because you have made multiple small threads for the smallest of questions... that all revolve around the same thing.

Which high-end notebook you should get:
    - Alienware m9750
    - the new Alienware M17x maybe
    - Dell XPS M1730
    - Sager 9261 (Clevo D901C)

I think those are the ones you have thinking about... but I feel you want an Dell-lienware from your posts. Go for it, no one is stopping you.

The Sager 9261 is going to remain the fastest (desktop quad-core CPU), the Alienware m17x and Dell M1730 will be a tie/near for second (mobile CPU)... and the Alienware m9750 is probably going to be phased out due to its old Napa technology (older mobile CPUs).

As Gophn noted, it would be best if you complete the FAQ in the what to buy forum. You should wait for the 8800M to actually appear in some notebooks.
