    hey, I was wondering can a 7600Go GPU use a 22'' LCD ?

I mean the native resolution would be 1650x1080, and for games maybe 1024x769 or lower for Crysis.

I was thinking of buying an HP W2207H, and a friend of mine told me that if the native res is higher than the resolution on a game, the images would become sucky.

When using a resolution other than native, the image becomes blurry, but nothing too serious.

    I see, do you think a 7600Go can handle 1650x1080 ? even @ desktop resolution only ?

And how can I make the game run in letterbox mode (black borders) ?
So that it can run @ lower resolution than the native w/o blurring it .

the go 7600 should handle the desktop fine, i used two 1440x900 screens and it ran fine, although it was in windows xp. to run with black borders, you should set in the nvidia control panel->displau->change flat panel scaling, but i think this only work using digital conections.

Yes if you mean output the resolution, yes it can without any problems. The Go7600 will only be able to play older games at a 1680x1050 (WSXGA+) resolution though. Far Cry should run at that resolution with relatively high settings, because my OC'ed X700 256MB can with no problems. If you overclock your Go7600, I bet you can get a nice performance boost.

Unless you have proper cooling, then OCing is not for you...

Apparently, I have no proper cooling, cause I just hit the 80C earlier while playing NFS ProStreet. lol.

Thanks for the replies guys, really helpful :D

Hey, Chaz when you overclocked how much of a difference did you get? I mean even a 5 FPS difference is mostly unnoticeable.
