well, university has already started and there is nothing to do in the dorms. what to do? NETWORK GAMES!

I have the original COMPLETE UK version of F.E.A.R with latest patch installed. My friends on the network are cheap so I decided that I will download F.E.A.R Comabt for them. My question is, if I download the US F.E.A.R combat will we be able to play against each other? or do I have to download the UK F.E.A.R combat.

I would download both and test it out...but its well over 1 GB.

    thanks.

the file for FEAR Combat is the same regardless of where you live.
It would be dumb to have a multiplayer game that only works with people in the same country as you.

You should have no problems using the multiplayer built into your full version to play with them using the free multiplayer only.

yes they are. the latest patch for the original FEAR (1.7 I believe) allowed people who bought the original to play against those who got the multiplayer portion.

thanks for the replay dude. I knew it was a dumb question and all, but I already got burnt when I downloaded the latest patch for the US version ( over 400MB) and an error message popped up telling me I should get the UK patch!

    thanks
