I just recently purchased a Gateway laptop 7215GX series. The following specs are:
AMD athlon XP-M 3000+ processor
ATI Radeon IGP graphics card (set at 128MB RAM)
512MB RAM (384MB RAM due to graphics card)
60 gigs of hard drive..
Will this be able to play Half Life 2 under Medium settings or I should buy another RAM stick? I am not sure how RAM works on notebooks, but I know there's a user access bay underneath with a 512 stick in it.. is there another RAM slot that I could insert by taking the whole laptop apart?? Thanks

Well I unscrewed the expansion bay and there's no way that 2 RAM chips would fit in that area..
