Hey all. Just wanted you guys input on the temperatures I'm getting from CPUID Hardware Monitor. Wanted to make sure they're normal/acceptable.

System specs are in the sig.

    CPU Normal = ~44C

CPU max temperature under max load (2 hours of Crysis Demo) = ~70C

    GPU Normal = ~52C

GPU max temperature under max load (2 hours of Crysis Demo) = ~80C

I'm pretty sure the GPU is fine and don't get into problematic territory until close to 90C, but I'm not sure about the CPU. It exhibited no issues or anything, but there's nothing wrong with a second opinion, amirite?

(Note: The GPU/CPU didn't stay at those temperatures, per se...those are just the peak temperatures they hit.)

    Thanks in advance!

BTW: am very surprised how well my 9600M GT fared with the Crysis Demo. Most things felt well above 40fps with nothing set less than "medium", and 3 or 4 things set on "high". at 1920x1080.

Your temps are generally fine. Read up for safe temps at cooling central .. there is a section about it

I wish my temps were that good. After light gaming (nothing near as intense as Crysis, and nowhere near 2 hours), my temps are a few degrees hotter than those.
