I just received my brand new acer laptop the other day. I would just like to know what games it will play and at what settings. But rest assured I know its one of the worst IGP's out there and nothing will out of the ordinary is to be expected.
My computer specs are;
1 gb ddr2 667 mhz ram, Intel Core Duo T2250 (1.73 ghz) processor, and Intel Gma 950 integrated graphics.
Here are the main games I will be playing.
Battlefield 2: I usually play 32 player games.
CS:Condition Zero: I'm expecting medium-low settings.
Battlefield 2142: O I never AA or AF, never use bloom. Something you should know.
CS:Source: Great game I hope I can play at least medium settings. Oh, if you have a screenshot of CS:Source at lowest settings I'd like to take a look at it.
That's just about it. Thanks for your attention and help.

From personal experience, I would say that source would be somewhat smooth on pretty low settings (aka 800*600 max and low-med settings). CSCZ will be medium-high settings as it's an older game, and battlefield 2 will be only low settings.

Would any of these games look good at low settings? Or is it all unsmooth looking?

I know wow plays on it

Battlefield 2 is not playable and neither is 2142. I think Condition Zero will run better tha medium-low, should be around medium or medium-high (it's an old game engine), and cs:s should run on high settings. I have something better than pictures, a video of CS:S @ max details of textures and models plus trilinear filtering, 1024x768, dx 7 lvl. This is on a macbook through an emulated enviroment, so it should run much better on windows, maybe even on dx8.1 lvl

Lol I do like WoW but I play other games almost exactly like it.
Like Shadowbane and 9dragons. -
Should I have mentioned I have Windows Vista...

That was a good informative video, but I believe someone on this site said battlefield 2 was playable on Intel GMA 950.
I just hope he isn`t lieingé -
hmm... i don't think the gma950 drivers are bad. it's mostly ati and ESPECIALLY nvidia that has driver problems. It'll run better than on the mac, since it used something called crossover to allow windows programs to run on OSx natively through emulation (like directx). Therefore it will run better on your windows laptop.
