    Hey guys, im looking to buy one of these in ddr3 512mb, just wondered if anyone has installed one in there 6930g, does it need to have the specific acer bios etc on it? or can anyone work in it?

    Acer vBIOSes are best in order to maximize compatibility, but since some Acer MXM cards come from MSI's factory (the rest are from "Yuan"), it may still work.
    At best, you cold try a vBIOS flash.

    How would i go about vBIOS flash? is it the same as flashing the card with higher clocks etc? where would i get the firmware etc?

    Also if i install it and it doesn't boot, how can i flash it?

    Having trouble with the 4670 currently, don't bother. Maybe I'll get it working, IDK.

    Any one tried and the new NVIDIA® GeForce® GT240M with 1GB GDDRIII from the new Acer 5739G on the 6930g?
