I have acer extensa 5220, with 170gb hard and 2gb ram, my x3100 is running very poorly on pixel shader detail 2.0 games, Counter strike 1.6, need for speed most wanted are unplayable with lower than 20 fps, i have the latest drivers, i have tried old drivers , my cpu is intel m540 and if this is the reason nothing can be played even if it is 3 years old, tell me please. If i can do something to get need for speed most wanted running at least at medium 800/600,please do not hesitate to reply :)

If I'm not mistaking, and I probably am, the m540 is a Celeron CPU correct? Couple that with the X3100, and you're not gonna have much of a chance. CS 1.6 should run decent, though.

Sorry, but there is nothing you can do about it, IMO. Graphics and processor stops you. RAM upgrade seemed like an option, but you have enough of it. However, GPU cannot be changed and you are stuck with it. You cannot run NFS:MW even in 800*600?

it is running slow at a rate of 30-35 max fps and low 10-15
If i change settings to very low and graphics to 1024 it is playable though . . .

try playing in software mode, it gave me a frames boost, but the textures will be very pixellated and being flashed hurts your eyes
